Security screening at airports
Screening of passengers and baggage at Australian airports is the responsibility of individual airports, airlines and their contractors.
Feedback and complaints can be made to the on-duty screening supervisor at the time of screening. If the matter is not handled to your satisfaction, contact the relevant airport or airline directly.
More information on passenger security screening is available on the Department of Home Affair's TravelSECURE website.
